On the afternoon of November 9, Huangshan Huizhou Romantic Red Culture and Tourism Group signed a contract with EHang online, according to Chinese media outlet Dazhong YueKan.

 

The meeting visited EHang R&D Center online through video, experienced the flight of EH216-S, watched the drone formation performance remotely, learned about the development status of Guangzhou Heli Chuangxing Holdings Co., Ltd. and EHang Intelligent Equipment (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. in the field of intelligent autonomous aircraft.

This signing means that Huizhou District (of Huangshan City, Anhui province) has opened a new era of operating activities with the world’s leading EHang passenger autonomous aerial vehicle (AAV). It will enrich the development connotation of the tourism industry in Huizhou District and even Huangshan City, expand new space, and provide tourists with a new experience in the air. At the same time, it also implants new formats for tourism in the region, further launch the brand of “Meet Huizhou, Enjoy Landscapes”, and provide new ideas for building a famous cultural and tourism area.
