It is learned on November 28 from Tencent official Weibo, Tencent Holdings signed a cooperation agreement with NIO. The two parties agreed to carry out in-depth cooperation in areas such as smart driving maps, autonomous driving clouds, and digital ecological communities.

In the future, the two parties will conduct in-depth explorations on NIO’s intelligent driving technology research and development and user experience innovation.
Tencent will focus on the “three-in-one” map data system of standard maps, lane-level maps and high-definition maps to help NIO realize the innovative experience of person-vehicle co-driving that seamlessly integrates standard navigation and high-precision navigation. It will also provide cloud computing capabilities for large-scale data storage, computing and model training required for autonomous driving from R&D to operation.
