It is learned on December 12 from Lei Technology, according to IT Home, recently, there is news that BYD Seagull is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2023, with a price of between 60,000 and 80,000 yuan, of which the sodium-ion battery version may be priced at 60,000 yuan. If Seagull’s progress is not satisfactory, it may be launched in the third quarter of 2023.

 

According to media reports, Seagull is a small pure electric car under BYD Ocean series. Its positioning is lower than that of the Dolphin. It adopts a four-door and four-seat design and is based on e-platform 3.0.

Judging from the current revelations, the appearance design of the Seagull is expected to be similar to that of the Dolphin, a bit like a “shrunken version” of a Dolphin. Although the official has not announced the specific configuration information, but from the perspective of positioning and BYD’s brand tonality, Seagull may have many bright spots in configuration, such as fast charging technology and heat pump air conditioner.

Relying on BYD’s technical advantages, Seagull is expected to become a hit model like BYD Dolphin after it is launched on the market with big sales.
