The working group of the Civil Aviation Administration of China visited EHang for inspection and research


On January 19, EHang reported that on January 16, a working group led by Luo Yiming, deputy director of the Aircraft Airworthiness Certification Department of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, visited EHang to conduct in-depth inspection on the EH216-S model certification work, global business development, and innovative standard formulation, etc.

Zhang Qingchun, director of the Institute of Civil Aviation Regulations and Standardization of the China Academy of Civil Aviation Science and Technology, and others participated in the inspection, accompanied by the management and technical backbone members of EHang.

The working group visited the EHang R&D Center and the headquarters building successively to learn more about the progress of the EH216-S model certification work of the EHang passenger autonomous aircraft, visited the EHang Command Management and Dispatching Center on the spot, and held special symposium.

The Central South Bureau of Civil Aviation stated at the 2023 Central South Civil Aviation Work Conference held recently that Central South Civil Aviation will continue to fully promote the EH216-S autonomous aircraft type certification project work, and vigorously explore the pilot work of autonomous aerial vehicle urban mobility (UAM).
