Jiangsu Expressway Energy Development Co., Ltd. is an expressway energy management enterprise jointly established by Jiangsu Communications Holdings Co., Ltd., Sinopec Sales Co., Ltd., and China National Petroleum Corporation. It is a well-known expressway comprehensive energy service provider in China, responsible for the operation and management of energy services in a total of 78 pairs of service areas for highways and river-crossing bridges managed by Jiangsu traffic control.

Since 2018, the two parties have started to cooperate in the construction of more than 20 charging and swapping stations in the service areas along the G2 Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, G30 Lianhuo Expressway, and G15 Shenhai Expressway in Jiangsu Province. The highway travel will improve the highway energy replenishment experience of the entire Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration. In the future, it will join hands with Jiangsu Expressway Energy to speed up the construction of charging and swapping facilities to bring users a better power-up experience.

So far, NIO has successively reached strategic cooperation with relevant expressway management departments in Anhui, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu, and will subsequently bring a more dense highway charging and swapping network to the urban agglomeration in the Yangtze River Delta. Up to now, NIO has deployed 1,313 swapping stations across the country, including 348 expressway swapping stations, and has completed the layout of the highway swapping network in 8 large urban agglomerations with 5 vertical lines and 3 horizontal lines:

5 vertical lines: G1 Beijing-Harbin Expressway, G2 Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway, G15 Shenhai Expressway

3 horizontal lines: G30 Lianhuo Expressway Jiangsu-Shaanxi Section, G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, G60 Shanghai-Kunming Expressway Shanghai-Hunan Section

8 major urban agglomerations: Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, Greater Bay Area urban agglomeration, Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration, Shandong Peninsula urban agglomeration, middle reaches of the Yangtze River urban agglomeration, Guanzhong urban agglomeration, and Central Plains urban agglomeration

1,243 supercharging stations, 6,309 supercharging piles, 1,084 destination charging stations, 7,365 destination charging piles have been deployed, and more than 630,000 third-party charging piles have been connected. The continuous layout makes charging more convenient than refueling.
