NIO reports its acceleration of power-up layout | 1,000 new swap stations to be added in 2023 with construction speed of 120-150 stations per month

On February 20, NIO reported that in order to continue to bring users a more convenient power-up experience, NIO will add 1,000 new power swap stations in 2023, and reach more than 2,300 power stations in total.

Among the newly added swap stations, about 400 will be built in expressway service areas or expressway exits to speed up the layout of highway power swap networks; About 600 will be deployed in urban areas, focusing on third- and fourth-tier cities and counties that have a certain user base and have not yet had power swap stations.

At present, the mass production of the third-generation power swap station is progressing smoothly. It is expected to start mass production in April, and the deployment of power swap stations will be accelerated in May. Starting from June, NIO will basically maintain the construction speed of 120-150 battery swap stations per month.
