On March 9, Xpeng reported the launch of the all-new P7i, with a total of 4 models and a price range of 249,900 to 339,900 yuan.

As a mid-term facelift model, the new P7i is positioned as an ultra-smart coupe, which has been upgraded in terms of styling and interior details, while the power has also been improved, especially the new car’s smart platform and other aspects have undergone technological upgrades.

According to Xpeng, the key points of this new car change are configuration and smart platform upgrades. The sensor of the new P7i has added two lidars, and the smart assisted driving chip uses dual Orin-X chips, and the computing power has been increased from 30TOPS to 508TOPS.

In terms of software, the Max version of the new P7i will be equipped with a new generation of intelligent assisted driving system XNGP, which can realize intelligent assisted driving in full scenario. The system is based on the new network architecture XNET. This is also the world’s second mass-produced perception algorithm architecture that can generate high-precision maps in real time, in addition to Tesla FSD.

In terms of battery performance, the available battery capacity has increased to 86.2kWh, an increase of 5%; In addition, the peak power is increased to 410kW to ensure the performance requirements of 0-100 acceleration of the vehicle. Before the launch of the new P7i, the Xpeng P7, as the flagship model of Xpeng, was the main sales force for Xpeng.
