NIO signed a contract with Jiangsu Expressway to continue to accelerate the construction of the charging and swapping network

It is learned on March 11 from Let’s Car Talk that recently, NIO Energy and Jiangsu Expressway Energy Development Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement, aiming to provide users with a more convenient highway power-up experience through joint construction of highway charging and swapping facilities.

After reaching strategic cooperation with relevant expressway management departments in Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, etc., NIO will also bring a more intensive and complete highway charging and swapping network construction to the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.

This means that NIO’s charging and swapping network construction, as well as the “full-stack self-research” strategic system, are in a state of continuous acceleration and improvement, consolidating NIO’s position in the high-end market from the two key dimensions of service and hardware.

In terms of charging and swapping network construction, NIO has deployed 1,243 supercharging stations, 6,309 supercharging piles, 1,084 destination charging stations, 7,365 destination charging piles, and more than 630,000 third-party charging piles nationwide; There are 1,313 battery swap stations, including 348 highway swap stations.

In addition, NIO has also completed the layout of the highway power swap network of “5 verticals, 3 horizontals and 8 large urban agglomerations.”

If including the charging network of the State Grid, NIO will most likely become the first manufacturer to solve mileage anxiety.
