On March 16, Luokung Technology reported that recently, the compilation team of the surveying and mapping industry standard “Quality Specification for Road High-precision Electronic Navigation Map” visited EMapGo for on-site research. More than 20 representatives from 10 entities including map dealers, research institutions, and inspection institutions attended the research.

The “Quality Specification for Road High-precision Electronic Navigation Map” standard is an industry standard recommended by the Department of Land Surveying and Mapping of the Ministry of Natural Resources. It was officially approved by the National Landmark Committee in September 2022. This standard is also the first domestic road high-precision electronic navigation map quality specification industry standard approved for implementation.

In the research seminar, Tang Yonglin, vice president of EMapGo, led the team to report the verification of the first draft of our standard, the compatibility of relevant standards, etc. to the compilation team, and gave suggestions for standard optimization. After the on-site discussion of the compilation team, combined with the actual situation of the industry, this research work was successfully completed. In the future, EMapGo will actively cooperate with the compilation team to improve the standard and jointly promote the compilation of this standard.

The standard plans to solve the problems of “what to check”, “from which aspects to check”, “how to check”, “how to analyze and evaluate the inspection results”, “how to write the quality report” and other issues of the high-precision electronic navigation map of the road. It is suitable for data acceptance and quality assessment of road high-precision electronic navigation map products.
