According to Shanghai Securities News, on March 22, the Shanghai Anhui Chamber of Commerce Member Conference and the First Global Anhui Merchants Shanghai Forum were held at the Shanghai International Convention Center.

Li Bin, the founder, chairman, and CEO of NIO, introduced at the meeting, “As of February this year, the cumulative delivery of NIO has exceeded 310,000 units. From January to February this year, NIO accounted for more than 66% of the high-end pure electric market.”

Li Bin said: “We released two heavyweight products ES8 and EC7 at the end of last year. Now our second-generation platform products have released 5 models, and there are still several new models to be delivered this year.”

According to Li Bin, the global sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 10 million last year. Among them, Chinese car companies contributed over 60%. He further revealed that the sales of new energy vehicles in the country exceeded 6.8 million last year, and the penetration rate in all passenger vehicles exceeded 25%, far exceeding expectations.

“NIO was founded in Shanghai and grew up in Anhui.” Li Bin said. At present, NIO has more than 10,000 colleagues in Shanghai. After the NIO China headquarters settled in Hefei, it currently has more than 5,700 employees in Anhui.
