On March 24, Beijing News Daily, its reporter learned from the CATL 2022 annual performance online briefing that CATL believes: from a long-term perspective, the industry still has room for 20 times growth.

Talking about the development of sodium-ion batteries, CATL stated that sodium-ion batteries will be mass-produced in 2023, At the same time, product performance will continue to be upgraded.

Regarding the prospect of lithium battery recycling, Zeng Yuqun, chairman of CATL, believes that energy sources such as oil and coal are determined by natural endowments. At the same time, they are one-time consumption of energy. CATL lithium batteries can achieve a recovery rate of 90%+ in metal recycling, so the natural endowment has become a manufacturing endowment, and manufacturing is also our advantage.
Therefore, the prospect of recycling is very bright, and it is also the only way for sustainable and high-quality development. When all batteries are recycled in the future, we will have very little dependence on natural endowments, which will further highlight our manufacturing advantages.
