Judging from the exposed images, Xiaomi’s first car will be positioned as a coupe. The length, width and height of the body are 4860×1980×1666mm. The slouch shape, the exaggerated cooling vents and muscle lines on the side, the raised wheel eyebrows, etc., have the design aesthetics of traditional sports cars.

In terms of performance, it is equipped with front and rear dual motors, and the fastest acceleration time from zero to 100 can reach 3.6 seconds. It provides two battery packs of 90KWh and 120KWh, and the cruising range reaches 766KM and 1036KM.

In terms of intelligence, Xiaomi cars will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chips, 3 lidars at the front and rear, and 4 millimeter-wave radars, which can realize L3 level autonomous driving systems. However, due to current regulations, some functions may be implemented through subsequent OTA upgrades.

According to Xiaomi’s plan, Xiaomi cars will arrive in 2024.

According to the information disclosed by a former employee, the price of Xiaomi car is expected to be 299,900 to 369,900 yuan, which will face the 329,900 Tesla Model 3 high-performance version.

If the appearance design, cruising range, performance, and intelligence can be as exposed, then Xiaomi still has enough strength to compete against Tesla Model 3.
