March 2023 report on China’s automobile value preservation rate: NIO ET7 overtakes BMW 5 Series

It is learned on April 7 from Qiche Remen Bao (Auto Hot Daily) that on April 3, 2023, the China Automobile Dealers Association and Jingzhen Evaluation jointly released “Research Report on China’s Auto Value Preservation Rate in March 2023”.

 

The research on the preservation rate aims to reflect the comprehensive strength of the brands such as product power, awareness, and reputation, and provide important data reference for future related businesses such as repurchase, replacement, leasing, finance, and new car pricing reference, thereby reducing business risks, and improving operating efficiency.

In popular market segments, new car force manufacturers provide consumers with new choices.

Among the class of domestically produced medium and large cars worth more than 400,000, Mercedes-Benz, as the benchmark of the class, ranks first on the list;
NIO ET7, as the main model of a new force brand, is remarkable in terms of space, configuration, and power. Its sci-fi appearance and futuristic interior layout have been recognized by many people, and its value-reservation rate is excellent, surpassing the BMW 5 Series and ranking second in value preservation rate.

 

Value preservation rate ranking of domestically produced medium and large vehicles worth more than 400,000 yuan:

85.9% – Mercedes-Benz E-Class
80.5% – NIO ET7
80.4% – BMW 5 series
76.5% – Audi A6L
72.5% – Mercedes-Benz E-Class plug-in hybrid
72.4% – Audi A7L
70.5% – BMW 5 Series Plug-in Hybrid
