CATL signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement with Everbright Green and Yongfu to provide “low-carbon city” solutions for local governments and industrial and commercial users

 

On April 21, CATL reported that recently, CATL signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Everbright Green and Yongfu in Ningde, Fujian.

Zhu Yansong, Vice President of CATL Energy Storage Division, Zhu Fugang, Vice President of Everbright Green Environmental Protection, and Peng Huana, Deputy Chief Engineer of Yongfu Co., Ltd. signed the agreement on behalf of the three parties. Tan Libin, Co-President of CATL Market System, Qian Xiaodong, President of Everbright Green Environmental Protection, and Wang Jinjun, Vice Chairman of Yongfu Co., Ltd. witnessed the signing.

According to the agreement, the three parties will give full play to CATL’s first-mover advantages in energy storage technology, Everbright Greentech’s experience in operation and industrial integration in the field of biomass power generation and environmental protection, and Yongfu’s ability in power energy system integration and comprehensive services, and jointly provide competitive “low-carbon city” solutions for local governments and industrial and commercial users in the fields of carbon resource development, green power trading, comprehensive energy and environmental governance. In addition, the three parties will also explore and develop areas such as power spot trading, carbon monitoring, carbon capture and carbon trading.

In the future, CATL will continue to promote the zero-carbon strategy, actively undertake social responsibilities, and work with partners to provide customers with cleaner energy and help realize the “dual carbon” goal as soon as possible.
