NIO’s brand new ES6 won the overall model award – “Most Watched Model Award”. This high-end smart electric all-round SUV also made its debut at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show. It is reported that NIO’s new ES6 has already started pre-orders and will be officially released and delivered in late May.

It is understood that the new ES6 is positioned as a smart electric all-round SUV, adopts NIO’s latest design language, is equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system as standard, Aquila super-sensing system and ADAM NIO supercomputing platform, and has the widest lateral direction of a high-end mid-sized SUV in its class. Riding space meets the needs of users in terms of design, performance, control, intelligence, space and comfort.

Regarding the price of the brand-new ES6, which the market focuses on, Li Bin, the founder, chairman and CEO of NIO, said in an interview with the media that the price of the brand-new ES6 will not be too high, but it will not be too low either. “After all, NIO provides users with far more value than a car.” Li Bin explained. For reference, the old NIO ES6 has a variety of models on sale. The official guide price is around 380,000 to 560,000 yuan, and the main concentration is in the range of 400,000 yuan.

According to NIO’s plan, by the middle of this year, eight models of the second-generation technology platform will be on sale, forming NIO’s strongest product lineup of high-end smart electric vehicles and entering a strong product cycle. In addition to the new ES6, there are EC7 delivered at the end of April, 2023 ET7 delivered in mid-May, brand new ES8 delivered in June, and two new cars to be released in June and July, which can fully satisfy high-end users diverse needs.

In the first quarter of 2023, the penetration rate of new energy vehicles is 30.8%, an increase of about 9% over the same period last year, and the penetration rate of pure electric vehicles is 20.9%, an increase of nearly 4% over the same period last year.
