NIO equity exposure: Li Bin holds 10.5% of shares and has 44.2% of voting rights, Tencent holds 9.7% of shares

On May 3, according to Lei Di (touchweb), NIO recently submitted the 20-F document and the 2022 annual report. As of February 28, 2023, NIO has a total of 1,687,741,811 shares, of which Li Bin, the founder and CEO of NIO, holds 10.5% of the shares and 44.2% of the voting rights.

 

As of February 28, 2023, NIO’s shareholding structure:
Tencent holds 9.7% of the shares and has 5.9% of the voting rights;
Baillie Gifford & Co holds 7.2% of the shares and has 4.4% of the voting rights.

As of December 31, 2021, NIO’s shareholding structure:
Li Bin holds 10.5% of the shares and has 44.5% of the voting rights; Tencent holds 9.8% of the shares and has 5.6% of the voting rights;
Baillie Gifford & Co holds 5.3% of the shares and has 3.3% of the voting rights.

On the whole, NIO’s equity has not changed much. Baillie Gifford & Co’s shareholding has also increased by 1.9 percentage points, and voting rights have increased by 1.1 percentage points.
