Trademark status is pending.

Previously, it was reported that NIO co-founder Qin Lihong once said that the new brand is in the process of intensive preparation. Among them, “Firefly” is the third brand, targeting the small car market, with an estimated price of 100,000 to 200,000 yuan. It will be launched in the European market and is planned to be released in the third quarter of 2024. The second brand is “Alps”, which is also planned to start delivery in 2024.

NIO’s creation of two new brands that are different from the existing NIO brand should be due to the consideration of expanding sales volume and occupying a larger market share. Compared with the 300,000+ high-end market, 100,000-300,000 yuan is the mass market, which accounts for the largest proportion, but it is also one of the most competitive markets.
